When YBA introduced its first CD Player in 1991, the overall enthusiasm made it the undisputed reference. Vitality, delicacy and coherence, the musical qualities of this player, were immediately rewarded by numerous accolades in France and elsewhere.

The result of YBA’s digital research, this player benefits from a number of improvements that guarantees an extraordinary musical pleasure.

Thus, its conversion stage, based on a high resolution 24 bits/192kHz DAC, delivers uncommon transparency and fluidity.

Similarly, its oversized (320 VA 80000 µF) analog section power supply makes it one of the world’s best performers.

And for the purist, it is also available with a double power supply for a perfect channel separation.

And this music is made of multiple little details.

For example: the Philips CD Pro IIm transport is mounted on a spring / shock absorber combination suspension that isolates it from all unwanted vibrations.

We have of course equipped the Player with YBA’s patented Blue Diode system which significantly improves readout performance.

The analog section’s power supply (160VA, 28000 µF) guarantees efficient AC filtering and gives the CD Passion 600 exceptional impulse response.

Using advanced technology and software, the CD Passion 400 promises musical enjoyment rarely found in its category.

Rigid aluminum chassis, exclusive components, elegant styling, this new CD Player was designed for long years of musical enjoyment.

As with the other models in this series, the analog and digital power supplies are totally separate.

It is the perfect representation of the YBA philosophy of evolution: if the unit is of high enough quality to stand alone, it can also be significantly improved by being upgraded with an external power supply such as the one from the CD Passion 600.

Based on the latest research work done by our engineers on digital treatement and filtering, more notably on jitter reduction, Passion 200 CDP comes with high end 24 bits / 192 kHz sample rate convertor and an high resolution digital to analog conversion thanks to our partnership with Wolfson electronics. Double power supply, one for the digital domain, the other for the anlog stage, high capacitance filtering and outstanding drive (with an error bite rate of less than 1 bit over 1.000.000.000.000 bits), make this new player on of the class, if not the, class leader.
